DevOpsDays Aarhus Denmark Merkely

We’re going to DevOpsDays Denmark 🎉

Hurray! DevOpsDays is heading to Denmark and Merkely is proud to be a Silver sponsor. We’re delighted to have the opportunity to join up with the local DevOps community, see old friends, and make some new ones. After a few hiccups (thanks, COVID!🙄) the team in Aarhus is ready to host, so we’re all set to go on April 26-27.

Cool DevOps things we’re looking forward to

We’ve had a look at the agenda and it’s packed with a wide range of inspiring talks on cloud, security, platforms, and more. The speakers come from a bunch of industries and backgrounds, so we’re excited to learn about their various DevOps experiences. Given Merkely’s focus on regulated industries, and fintech in particular, we’re especially interested to hear from Kasper Nissen at Lunar.

📣 Here are just a few talks to look forward to:

  • Breaking the multi-cloud barrier in a regulated industry - Kasper Nissen
  • Shifting left: why security can no longer be an afterthought - Karina Popova
  • The successful DevOps journey in Falck, and amazing transformation of Falck.dk - Henning Kjær
  • DevOps for entrepreneurs - Lars Kruse
  • Building DevOps at the LEGO Group - Rasmus Hald
  • Developer Productivity Engineering – The next big thing in software development - Justin Reock
  • CAMS - Then, now and the path forward - Thomas Krag
  • Better internal platform engineering through analytics - Mathias Grund Lehmann Sørensen

Have a look at the program! You might find more gems 💎

Ewelina on stage (Update)

What an event DevOpsDays Denmark! 👏 It was great meeting old friends and making new ones over this 2-day event in Aarhus. Loads of information, great talks and conversations, and we couldn’t be happier about it!

Merkely took the stage twice, with our very own Ewelina Wilkosz giving two talks! First, a warm up talk at Uber about her experience of working from home with colleagues and customers (no video of this one - sorry 🙈)

Then, at the event itself, she followed up with her first Ignite Talk “You got 11.7 seconds to comply”. You can watch it below! (Skip to 06:45 for her talk or take your time and watch all 5 Ignite Talks 🤷‍♀️)

Finally, a big thank you to the organizers who managed to set up such a great event and bring so many DevOps enthusiasts under one roof! 👏 Kudos to you all! Looking forward to seeing you in Copenhagen next year!

DevOpsCon: Munich & Online. Making friends with change

Join Mike Long as he explains how DevOps has transformed the way we deliver software to our customers. But for teams in regulated industries, manual change management processes still put a delay on releases. For these teams, automating change management as part of the DevOps process is the next frontier. This talk will show how and why to automate change controls and release documentation with security and traceability built in. It’s time to make friends with change, we call this process Continuous Compliance.
